"they went back another way into their country" Matt 2:12.
What motto shall we chose to mark the new way? First, we need to co-operate more zealously with God and strive for confidential and sincere relation with the Lord in spirit of piety and prayerfulness which will conquer all, as St Francis of Assissi says. It does not mean we need to say endless prayers. The spirit of prayer is present with us when our heart turns to God with ease and eagerness, when we think about Him often and in every circumstances. When during our rest time we chose to spent time to talk to Our Lord hidden in tabernaculum: "Be instant in prayer; watching in it with thanksgiving" Col 4:2. Let us work for God with fresh zeal as St Augustin says: "You created us for yourself, o God". For this reason we should live for God only which in practice means: "Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatsoever else you do, do all to the glory of God". 1 Cor 10:31. That is why we should abandon desire for honours, praises or self-satisfaction. Someone who works for God, even in the midst of ill-fortune will be able to preserve inner peace and calm. Let us work full of hope in the Lord based on His providence, His Fatherly mercy and goodness, His wisdom and omnipotence. For "blessed be the man that trusteth in the Lord, and the Lord shall be his confidence" Jer 17:7. Follow the new road and pray to God: "Shew, O Lord, thy ways to me, and teach me thy paths". Ps 24:4
