" And his parents went every year to Jerusalem, at the solemn day of the pasch. And when he was twelve years old, they going up into Jerusalem, according to the custom of the feast." Luke 2; 42-42

We can imagine a lovely picture of the most Holy Family. The husband, the wife and the child were unified in service and faithfulness to God and His Church for years: "(parents) went every year to Jerusalem". They lived together in mutual peace and love. When Jesus remained in the Temple in obedience to His heavenly Father, there was no anger, no mutual reproaches between parents, nor toward Jesus, but all was resolved in peaceful manner. The most Holy Family worked in unity at home and in Joseph's workshop, in Mary's kitchen and garden, and Jesus was the best helper for His loving parents. Their lives together, although in poverty, could be likened to heavenly Paradise in terms of happiness which enlightened every moment of their lives. Can we only imagine such a lovely happiness? We should try to adopt this spirit of family love which filled little house in Nazareth, this spirit of serving God and Church, of love and unity, of happiness, no matter if we live alone or are surrounded by a family. Unfortunately, nowadays young families often seek to follow ill examples of false happiness as seen in movies or books and their lives is often ruined. In the first place, a husband should be bread winner both in material and spiritual way. Parental love and providence, can change even the smallest rental flat into a lovely family home. Keep away from anything and anyone that divides, disturbs and bring emptiness. Almost all depends on our attitude and determination to make our home and family a happy one, no matter what.
